For almost 30 years Marc has worked as a consulting engineering geologist in the mining, environmental and geotechnical disciplines. When not studying the vastly complex and varied creation, Marc can be found recreating in the Sierra Nevada or travelling. Marc and his wife Rebecca enjoy hiking, biking and climbing and can often be found travelling throughout North America in their Volkswagen Van. He also enjoys international travel, most recently spending a few months with his son and daughter-in-law in Brazil. Marc is the father of two children and two (still counting) grandchildren. Marc and his wife are not only passionate about recreating and the great outdoors, they also are committed to creating community, building relationships and encouraging others in their various walks in life.
